The Aga Khan Foundation Canada hosted a 'One Million Lives' event in Vancouver to celebrate the impact that Canada has had on reducing global poverty. The event featured a photo exhibit reflecting projects supported by Canada, including UCA. The University has several academic partners including Seneca College (Preparatory Programme), the University of Toronto, (BSc, Computer Science), the University of British Columbia (BSc, Earth and Environmental Sciences) and the University of Victoria (Cooperative Education Programme).

Held in April, it also included engaging speakers, and stimulated thought-provoking conversations on how Canadians are building a more equal and prosperous future where everyone can reach their full potential.
