Economic Development Programme
In addition to providing educational programmes that will build knowledge, skills and capacity, UCA will contribute to the economic development of the region by creating jobs, increasing the demand for local goods and services, and providing skills and knowledge to generate new livelihood opportunities through the development and maintenance of its campus facilities.
UCA will also create business and development linkages and promote institutional, policy and regulatory reform. This will all be managed through the UCA Economic Development programme which will support UCA’s mission by creating increased expertise and practical opportunities for regional economic development, as well as unique opportunities for students and faculty to engage in related research.
