UCA Publications: Cultural Heritage Series

The Series promotes understanding across cultures and generations by supporting Central Asian scholars conduct original and high-quality research, publish and disseminate their work to regional and international audiences. As the older generation of scholars advance in age, and the countries of Central Asia continue to develop national identities in the post-Soviet landscape, the history and oral traditions of the region's diverse cultures risk being lost or re-written to suit contemporary political objectives.

The University provides three additional initiatives to build teaching and scholarly capacity in the region through its Central Asian Faculty Development Programme, the Aga Khan Humanities Project, and Research Programme.
