Amrisho has lectured on practical English and has published articles on funeral ceremonies and cultural integration of different Muslim groups. His research interests include comparative studies of different lifestyles, particularly the culture of surviving, working, kinship and ethics among the people of Central Asia. He was a Faculty Member with the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development in Pakistan.
