SPCE Welcomes Over 400 Visitors in Naryn
Over 400 residents from the Naryn town and surrounding districts visited the University of Central Asia’s (UCA) School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) during the Open House week from September 10-17.
Executive Masters Programme in Naryn
Muhammad works with the Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan in the Policy Department and is leading the National Policies Monitoring Unit. Since March 2018, he has been one of 25 participants in the Executive Masters in Economic Policy (EMEP) programme. It is being offered by UCA’s Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA) through a partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (MOF AFG).

UCA Students Clean Over 300kg of Trash from Naryn Riverside
Participating in the World Cleanup Day on September 15th, undergraduate students from UCA’s Naryn campus collected over 300 kilograms of trash along the Naryn river. This event was organised and celebrated globally by millions of people cross 150 countries.

President Rahmon Inaugurates First Regional University in Tajikistan
The first private regional university in Tajikistan was inaugurated by President Emomali Rahmon on 14 September 2018. The formal opening of the University of Central Asia’s Khorog campus is another historic milestone, and the second campus to go into operation since its Naryn campus was inaugurated in Kyrgyzstan in 2016.

In what was a historic milestone, the University of Central Asia’s Khorog campus was formally inaugurated on 14 September 2018 by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon. The Khorog campus is the second campus of the University to become operational since its Naryn campus was inaugurated in Kyrgyzstan in 2016.

Building a Healthy Campus Culture
The practice of counselling is a fairly new concept in Central Asia. At UCA, the counselling office is dedicated to ensuring students and staff receive the support they need to succeed academically, personally, and socially. To better understand the role of these services at UCA, a Summer Counselling Skills workshop pilot project was held at the Naryn Campus from August 5-10.
